چکیده

The Andreev current and the subgap conductance in a superconductor/ insulator/ ferromagnet (SIF) structure in the presence of a small spin-splitting field show novel interesting features [1]. For example, the Andreev current at zero temperature can be enhanced by a spin-splitting field h, smaller than the superconducting gap ∆ , as has been recently reported by the authors. Also at finite temperatures the Andreev current has a peak for values of the spin-splitting field close to the superconducting gap, h ≈ ∆ . Finally, the differential subgap conductance at low temperatures show a peak at the bias voltage eV = h. In this paper we investigate the Andreev current and the subgap conductance in SFF structures with arbitrary direction of magnetization of the F layers. We show that all aforementioned features occur now at the value of the “effective field”, which is the field acting on the Cooper pairs in the multi-domain ferromagnetic region, averaged over the decay length of the superconducting condensate into a ferromagnet. Correlated tunneling into a superconductor in a multi- probe hybrid structure

– We consider tunneling in a hybrid system consisting of a superconductor with two or more probe electrodes which can be either normal metals or polarized ferromagnets. In particular we study transport at subgap voltages and temperatures. Besides Andreev pair tunneling at each contact, in multi-probe structures subgap transport involves additional channels, which are due to coherent propagation...

In this paper, we investigate the coherent quantum transport in grapheme-based ferromagnet-superconductor-ferromagent junctions within the framework of BCS theory using DBdG quasiparticles equation .The coherency with the finite size of superconductor region has two characteristic features subgap electron transport and oscillations of differential conductance. we show that periodic vanishing of...

We study the transport of electrons in a graphene NSN structure in which two normal regions are connected by a superconducting strip of thickness d. Within Dirac-Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations we describe the transmission through the contact in terms of different scattering processes consisting of quasiparticle cotunneling, local and crossed Andreev reflections. Compared to a fully normal stru...

Spin-resolved crossedAndreev reflection in ballistic heterostructures

We theoretically analyze non-local effects in electron transport across three-terminal ballistic normal-superconductingnormal (NSN) structures with spin-active interfaces. Subgap electrons entering S-electrode from one N-metal may form Cooper pairs with their counterparts penetrating from another N-metal. This phenomenon of crossed Andreev reflection is highly sensitive to electron spins and yi...
